This is a simple meet and greet at the picnic shelter in Copper Culture State Park from noon until 3:00 or until everybody has left. Bring a picnic lunch. Charcoal grills are available for cooking…and several restaurants are just through the roundabout. The Copper Culture Museum will be open too for you to discover why Oconto is the birthplace of western civilization.
It’s a time to celebrate the beginning of the end for The Yellow Brick Road series of geocaches along the Oconto River Trail which will be archived at the end of the year. Here’s a chance to reminisce or to complete the journey you may have once started at a time of the year when autumn colors are starting to peak. Neither the park nor the trail requires an entrance fee/sticker or pass.
