Ever feel your life or your job is "LIKE HERDING CATS"? Well today is the holiday for you. Take a few minutes out of your cat-herding to talk some geocaching and get a smiley!
If there is snow please wear your boots as the parking closest to the event location is rarely shoveled.
Suggested activity AFTER the event: Walk just a 1/2 block North on Broad Street and you'll see the brand new historical marker placed for Griffith's Auto Racing Legend Ray Nichels, then the town's display of decorated Christmas trees, and then you'll be at the Northeast entrance to Franklin Center. Go through the door and down the stairs and you'll see the HI-Rail Modular Train Club which opens its doors to the public just a few days a month (this basement has an electric chair lift in the stairway, so is wheelchair accessible). If you like model railroads or model anything you will surely enjoy seeing the trains here. BONUS CACHE HINT: Walking this short stretch also takes you past at least one item included in sgerbs' awesome cache GC7E4HZ - Griffith Letterbox Scramble.
