Project GC – Workshop

07 March 2020, 09:15 - 10:30

Have you ever wanted to learn about Project GC?  What even is it?  It is a user friendly database for all sorts of Geocaching statistics.

If like to find out statistics how your and others geocaching, it gives lots of great information.  It is like the statistics page from geocaching but on super steroids.

Besides that it is a tool you can use to help you do some of the following and much more.

  • Find geocaches in an area you need to meet a geochallenge.
  • See how your stats compare with a fellow geocacher.
  • Create a map off all the challenge caches in an area.
  • Show you all the challenges with checkers and what ones you already qualify or not.
  • Help find goals you want to work on and find the caches that qualify.
  • See maps of caches you have found in counties, states and counties.
  • See all the FTF's you have found.

These are some the to topics I plan to cover, plus a whole lot more.  I will have a power point presentation on Project GC.  You may want to bring you computer to go through the workshop with me.  If you have topics you would like to learn about, please send me an email and I will try to address it.  I look forward to seeing you there.
