Did you know?
Domesticated Turkeys cannot fly
(in as much as some folks think they can)
From a Oct 30, 1978 "WKRP in Cincinatti" TV episode "Turkeys Away"
The average person consumes about 16lbs of turkey per year
It takes about 75-80lbs of feed to raise a 30lb turkey
Arkansas, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, and North Carolina produce around 140 million live turkeys
a 15-lb turkey usually has about 70% white meat and 30% dark meat
Come by for a few, or stay for the entire event. We'll be talking Geocaching, cache hides,
puzzles and solves, as well any other items of interest including the great stories of
the Geotrails along with any other adventures of interest.
Bring your TravelBugs, Coins and Signature items for trade or exchange.
Stop by for a visit, or just hang out with the group for a while.
