Some of the best memories The Nightowl has in caching are at Flash Mob Events! So, since it's her birthday that's what she gets!!
The event is being held at Trestle Park, a cute little park which hosts Thursday night free concerts in the summer, has a nice dock with benches on Houghton Lake, has a short walking trail and a few things for the kids to play with. There are picnic tables and pleanty of free parking. Across the street is a recently closed restaurant if more parking is needed.
A Flash Mob is a large group of people who gather at a location, perform some brief action, and then quickly disperse.
Rain, shine or snow (it is Northern Michigan) this event will take place.
The event will last exactly 15 minutes, not one second longer.
At exactly 1:00 p.m. (as determined by your GPS clock) we will blow a whistle and a container will be placed near the coordinates given. As you arrive someone will hand you an individual log sheet to sign. Bring your own pen. Put the completed log sheet into the container. Only people who attend the event and have their names on an individual log sheet in the container will be able to log this event. The log sheets will become the log book for the event.
ITINERY:
