13411 Red Arrow Highway, just north of Harbert Road
Geocaching is the world's largest treasure hunting game, a real-world, outdoor adventure for all ages, that is happening all the time, all around the world. To play, participants use the Geocaching app and/or a GPS device to navigate to cleverly hidden containers called geocaches.
There are over 20 caches hidden at Chikaming Township Parks and Preserves alone. In the local 5 mile area, there are over 100 caches including 3 of the Michigan State Park Centennial GeoTour.
Come join us at the Harbert Community Park shelter to find out:
- What is geocaching?
- How do I play this game?
- What does a geocache look like?
- What did you say? - Geocaching Lingo
- Michigan State Park Centennial GeoTour
Discover at least 2 new geocaches hidden in this park.
We’ll have a SPECIAL scavenger hunt for the kids and adults as well.
