A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port (well, hoping for at least sunny)
Aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailin' man,
The Skipper brave and sure (thanks Captain Mike!)
SIX passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour,
A three hour [Geocaching] tour.
Come out and join 6 crazy geocachers that have gathered from 4 different states (Wisconsin, Michigan, New Jersy, and Mississippi) for a quick meet and greet in the circular parking area of the Greilickville Harbor Park in Greilickville, Michigan, right outside of Traverse City. After the quickie event, the 6 of us are going to hop on a boat for an actual three hour tour to Power Island. Sorry, there's no more room on the boat, but wish us on our way! We would love to meet some local geocachers that might be able to give us some pointers on going after the 5 caches located on the island.
The event is from 8am until 8:45am in the grassy area in the middle of the circular parking area on Saturday, September 5th.
Okay, it's not quite a tropic port, but sunny and hot would be nice, and it really is a 3 hour tour to Power Island for us! We have faith that Captain Mike will take us safely to and from Power Island!
