MiGO is passionately involved with cleaning up our parks and forests. Cache In Trash Out Events are one way we can carry on this beneficial tradition. Events are held all over the state, and can be hosted by anyone willing to pitch in and organize.

Groundspeak is again
sponsoring International Cache In Trash Out Day.
For 2008, our sixth annual event, it will be on Saturday, April 19. Together, we make an enormous positive impact with just a little joint effort.
Cache In Trash Out Day is an opportunity for geocachers to help clean up the parks and other cache-friendly places throughout the world. Through our volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources. A calendar of events is available HERE.

Cache In Trash Out History
This initiative started in 2003, when geocachers around the world organized
67 cleanup events in 5 countries and 28 States. There were 1180 unique logs
posted showing participation in these events, and hundreds more acted locally in
recognition of this important day. The events were such a huge success that
Groundspeak committed to carry on the tradition.
