Wyoming City Parks and Recreation Department Geocaching Guidelines
Cache Placement Permits
The City of Wyoming Parks and Recreation Department is a proud supporter of the growing sport of Geocaching. The department also recognizes the need to maintain a safe, aesthetically pleasing park system while protecting the community's natural resources for public enjoyment. If you desire to place a cache, or have already done so, in a Wyoming park, please note that the City of Wyoming has developed guidelines for placement and maintenance of caches within community parks that will protect the well being of our natural areas, the safety of all park users, and allow for future use of the City of Wyoming park system for geocachers. Permits, obtained at no cost, are required to place a cache in a Wyoming public park.
To request a copy of these guidelines and/or to obtain a cache placement permit, please contact them at (616)530-3164 or visit them at 1155 28th Street SW, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
